The Divers 10 is a bas relief, created from a 3D laser scan of two women whose bodies rest against each other and appear to be floating or falling. This piece was originally created during a residency at Pioneer Works, where I worked with Butoh performers Azumi Oe and Sindy Butz, 3D scanning them for a live audience as they enacted various falls. Another work from this series was commissioned as a 21 foot tall bas relief for the new Google offices in St John’s Terminal in Lower Manhattan.
