Which Magic, 2026
wool, sticks, stones
54″ x 80″
Which Magic examines the relationship between the body, the earth, and the rituals that connect them. Sticks evoking bones or a spine are felted with wool, blurring distinctions between hardness and softness, strength and vulnerability. As the blood-red wool fades and vegetation slowly envelops the work, the sculpture becomes a meditation on time, decay, and nature’s reclamation of the body.

Tall Friend, 2025
wool, yarn, sticks, 10ft x 3ft x 3ft
NFS
This felted wool figure is rooted in folklore and folk horror traditions. Its form is both familiar and uncanny—an ambiguous being that might be protector or specter, deity or outcast. The use of wool, a primal and organic material, reinforces a sense of intimacy and decay, as though Tall Friend has just emerged from the forest or from a half-remembered dream.
