spent shotgun shells, steel, zipties, wire

dimensions variable

This hanging outdoor sculpture is composed of spent shotgun shells that shimmer and shift with the wind, creating a visually delicate, almost mesmerizing presence. Its beauty is unsettled by the material itself, quietly invoking the reality of gun violence embedded within each element.

Pink pole revisited, 2023-25

spent shotgun shells, steel, 8’6″x12’x12′

$4000

Pink Pole is a welded steel structure adorned with spent shotgun shells that evokes both human control and nature’s persistent reclamation. Painted pink and staked like wild vines, the piece transforms symbols of violence into something unexpectedly playful, reflecting the tension between permanence and surrender to the natural world.
