Contumacious Propagation considers the way humans interract with nature–how we try to control it, and how it controls us in turn. As the summer unfurls, and what is perceived as either flowery birth or flowery bush becomes weedier and unruly, the added commentary on gender gets ever more poingnant: who are we landsacaping for? What is the nature of nurture?
