“Landscape-Map Continuum” is an alternate installation of a 2023 sculpture, “38°31′30″N 111°45′00″W (Pando),” whose abstract form derives from the mapped rhizomatic root system of the world’s largest tree.
By activating this work with soil and plants, the work closes the loop from landscape, to abstraction, and back again to landscape.
