Threshold, 2025

forton, foam, marble dust

$5000

Threshold is a monumental sculpture evoking a standing figure and a fractured gateway, formed of marble dust and Forton, and partially embedded in the earth. It is a ritual object disguised as ruin: part funerary stele, part fertility icon, part ancient antenna. Drawing on apotropaic symbols, chaos magic, and mythological ambiguity, the sculpture stages a dialogue between loss and transformation.
Referencing the myth of Psyche as ongoing dismemberment and reconfiguration, the piece is a meditation on psychic sedimentation.
